I am, on occasion, prone to ego-surfing (entering my own name into Google or some other search engine to see what comes up). This last weekend, I was doing just this, when I discovered a publication on Google Books. This was Teens in Israel
by Michael Burgan, a textbook of sorts for Jr. High age teens. Thanks to the wonders of Google’s indexing system, I was immediately taken to the exact page where my name appeared (here’s the link). This was an Image Credits section, which listed my name for a photo found on pages 2-3 of the book. This photo was acquired through Shutterstock where some of my photos are for sale. Below is the photo used, along with the book’s cover. It’s a great feeling to have your work used like this, especially for someone who is a true amateur (in photography).
